Bacolod police joins Beso for quick processing of clearance
THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) joined the Bacolod Express Service Office (Beso) at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central for easy and quick processing of police clearance.
Captain Ma. Liberty Indiape, BCPO spokesperson, said it is the initiative of Colonel Joeresty Coronica to join Beso, a one-stop-shop government service, for the convenience of the individuals who are processing police clearance.
She said BCPO started its operation on June 2 on the third floor of Ayala Mall.
She added that the service will be available daily from Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Indiape noted that this initiative reflects BCPO’s ongoing commitment to improving public service delivery by bringing essential police services closer to the people in a convenient and efficient manner.
Instead of going to a police station, Indiape said anybody is welcome to process a police clearance at Ayala Mall.
Indiape urged the public to take advantage of this initiative andassureds everyone of its continued dedication to efficient, courteous, and community-oriented service.
In 2023, the City Government led by Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez launched the Beso in Ayala Malls Capitol Central as well as in SM City Bacolod.
Beso was composed of 12 counters such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for the business name registration; zoning for zoning certification; Office of the Building Official (OBO) for building permit; Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for fire safety inspection certificate.
It also includes the City Health Office (CHO) for health identification cards and sanitation clearances; the Business Permits and Licensing Office; the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) for senior citizen IDs; the Civil Registrar for document requests; assessment and payment at the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) License Division; and assessment and payment at the CTO Land Division.
Benitez earlier said that it is part of their development agenda to ensure that government services are brought closer to the people and to promote inclusion.
He said this will bring better services to Bacolodnons and make it easier for them to access government transactions. (MAP)
