A woman unexpectedly emerged from a water drainage located along the roadside.

The unusual event took place on the busy street of Rufino and Adelantado in Legaspi Village, Makati City.

In a report by GMA 7’s ’24 Oras,’ the person who took the photo shared that the woman quickly ran after climbing out of the tight drainage opening.

She was reportedly chased by some security personnel, but the reason behind the chase remains unclear.

Additionally, what the woman did inside the drainage hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Later that day, authorities made the drainage opening a little bigger for them to have a better look at what was in there.

As they peeked, the space inside was small and narrow.

The same day, they put a steel railing on the drainage opening so the unknown woman wouldn’t be able to go back inside.

In the Philippines, water drainage systems are built on roadsides to help prevent flooding. These drains collect rainwater and direct it away from streets, homes, and buildings. Since the country often experiences heavy rains and typhoons, proper drainage is important to keep roads safe and reduce water buildup. Without these drains, even a short downpour can quickly cause deep flooding, traffic problems, and damage to property.

According to the report of EJ Gomez in ‘Unang Balita,’ the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school’s faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
