Ara Mina has taken to social media to pay tribute to Freddie Aguilar. The “Anak” hitmaker passed away on Tuesday, May 27 at the age of 72.

In an Instagram post, Ara shared a carousel post that contains photos and a clip displaying the present she received from Ka Freddie after they performed together.

According to her post, the actress received a lovely painting from the OPM legend, which came with a handwritten note.

“Dear Ara, Hope we can work together again soon! Maraming salamat at nakilala kita at nakasama sa pagtatanghal. Stay cool always!” Freddie’s note dedicated to Ara reads.

In the caption, Ara penned, “First, I want to share this meaningful painting with all of you. This beautiful piece is a gift from Ka Freddie Aguilar, given to me after our show abroad.”

The actress went on to honor the late Pinoy music icon. She wished his soul eternal peace and aired appreciation for his enormous contributions.

“Today, I mourn the loss of a true legend and our beloved ICON, Ka Freddie. Rest in peace. Thank you for your incredible contributions to our music industry.”

Ara revealed that Ka Freddie’s passion for his craft has inspired her.

“Your passion and love for music have inspired countless people, including myself.”

“Your legacy will forever live on in our hearts,” the actress earnestly added.

The actress then showed photos of the items that were damaged such as unused rugs from the U.S., carpets and throw pillows. Ara said that it was the “worst anay I’ve ever encountered in my life!” In one of her posts, she expressed how much she hates termites. “I hate you anay,” the prominent wrote.
