Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 with great fanfare, and it appears another major event is on the horizon. According to multiple rumours and reports, including insights from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to host another significant event in the coming weeks. This event is expected to showcase a new lineup of Macs, including the M4-powered MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and an all-new iMac.
The new lineup is set to feature Apple’s latest M4 chip, which boasts the fastest Neural Engine ever developed by the company. The M4 processor is capable of performing up to 38 trillion operations per second, surpassing the neural processing capabilities of any current AI PC, as highlighted by Apple during the processor’s initial unveiling.
Similar to its predecessor, the M3, the M4 chip is anticipated to come in multiple variants, including the Max and Pro versions. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are expected to incorporate all these variants to cater to different user needs.

Leading the anticipated updates is a long-awaited refresh of the iPad Mini. This compact tablet, which has not been redesigned since 2021, is rumoured to feature significant upgrades, including a faster processor and possibly a larger display.
Another key feature of the upcoming October event is expected to be the debut of a new Mac Mini powered by the M4 chip. This new model represents a notable design shift, with rumours suggesting it will be significantly smaller and more compact, potentially resembling the size of the Apple TV.
There are talks that Apple could hold this event in October which means we are not very far from the date. However, these are only speculative reports and there is no official announcement on this yet.
