Abandoned dog rescued, Angel’s Vet Express offering $1,000 to anyone with information about previous owners | News

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) An abandoned dog was rescued at 1801 Charles Street, and Angel’s Vet Express is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information about the previous owners.

The dog was rescued by a woman, who spoke with neighbors of the residence, and according to them, the dog was abandoned after the owners moved out of the house, leaving her and 11 puppies behind, 2 of which died this morning.

The vet states the dog is emaciated and has an extremely low red and white cell count, and while they’re working hard to keep her alive, her survival is “up in the air.”

“Someone had left this dog abandoned. And the dog is almost dead. We’re trying to do everything we can to save this dog’s life, and we will continue to try to save her life. We  are offering a $1,000 reward for arrest or conviction so we can find out who did this to this poor dog.” Said Gary Silverglat, co-founder of Angel’s.

If you have any information about the previous owners of the residence at 1801 Charles Street, you can call Angel’s at (816) 324-5824

The surviving puppies will be put up for adoption as soon as they’re stable, their breed is still currently unknown.
