Firefighters rescue cat stuck in drain
JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) – What could have been a ‘cat-atsrophe’ Friday night, turned into a ‘purr-fect’ rescue for firefighters in Jackson, Missouri.
According to Jackson Fire Rescue, a concerned citizen who was leaving the football game on September 20 told the department about a cat that was stuck in a drain by the roadway.
The firefighters immediately went out after receiving the report to get the drain up and out and rescue the kitty.
Fortunately, they were able to save the feline with no issues.
The department said the cat is “safe and secure with a full belly.”
Jackson Fire Rescue is also working to find a good home for the kitty. If you are interested, you can message them on Facebook.
