The Galaxy S23 series’ One UI 6.1.1 update is rolling out in more countries starting today. On September 5, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra became the first Samsung devices to get One UI 6.1.1. A week later, the update was released for flagship phones launched in 2023.

Galaxy S23 gets One UI 6.1.1 update in several countries outside Korea

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra first received the update in South Korea, and now, users in other countries can join the party as well. Users in Europe, Indiam Iraq, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, are now getting the update with firmware version S91xBXXU6CXH7 and a download size of around 2.8GB.

The update doesn’t come with the September 2024 security patch, though. The One UI 6.1.1-based software update for the Galaxy S23 series could be released in many other countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America later today or later this week.

This update introduces several new Galaxy AI features, including Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, Composer, and voice translation during calls in third-party apps. It also allows users to translate text in images on websites and turn voice recordings into Samsung Notes. One UI 6.1.1 also allows users to translate and summarize PDFs, edit voice recordings (and their transcripts), and auto-detect language in the Voice Recorder app.
