Organic gardening will be topic for Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society – Redlands Daily Facts

Linda Evans will present “Edible Gardening in the Inland Empire” when the Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society meets 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Redlands Church of the Nazarene, 1307 E. Citrus Ave.

Evans, an organic gardener and longtime resident of Redlands, will give tips on growing an organic winter vegetable garden.

She has been growing edibles for more than 35 years and has won awards at flower shows across the Inland Empire, including those held by the Palms to Pines District in Colton and the Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society, according to a news release. She has also hosted garden workshops.
