The new dates are yet to be announced.

Fortnite may be one of the biggest battle royale games in the world, but it still has its fair share of issues.

From connection issues to game-breaking errors, Fortnite players have experienced it all. Now, they’re facing matchmaking errors, which have caused some important events to be canceled.

Last night, Epic Games confirmed through a post on the official Fortnite Status X account that they had resolved some recent matchmaking issues players were facing.

Because of that, they extended the Champion Kuno & Renzo the Champion FNCS Cup tournament by 30 minutes.

A few hours later, players were still encountering matchmaking errors while queueing for the Champion Kuno & Renzo the Champion FNCS Cup. Epic acknowledged the problem and claimed they were investigating the issue.

As the problem started getting out of hand and players were constantly getting met with errors, Epic decided to reschedule the NA FNCS Cup. They also confirmed that they had canceled Cash Cups that were scheduled to take place today to focus on fixing the matchmaking errors.

Are there any new dates?

At the moment, the company hasn’t provided a new date for the Cash Cups. They mentioned they’ll update the thread on X once they have more information.

As for the Champion Kuno & Renzo the Champion FNCS Cup, Epic will share more details later this week about its rescheduled date.

The developers have also confirmed that those who earned the Kuno and Renzo Outfit rewards during the event will get the items through the V31.10 update.

Usually, matchmaking errors are caused by connection issues or corrupted files, but this time, the problem seems more serious since even Epic hasn’t resolved it yet. Let’s hope they find a solution soon, as everyone is excited about the FNCS and Cash Cups.
