Pinangunahan ng Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South), isang subsidiary ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) ang paglulunsad ng ‘Bayani Ka: Bayani ng Kalsada Book 2’ sa seremonya na ginanap sa National Library of the Philipines sa Maynila kamakailan.
Tampok sa activity book ang iba’t ibang colorful illustrations at interactive content upang maagang mamulat ang mga kabataan para maging “road safety champions” sa kani-kanilang komunidad.
“With road safety being a vital topic for young learners, the book is an excellent resource for schools to incorporate into their curriculum, helping students become more aware and responsible on the streets,” ayon kay Arlette V. Capistrano, vice president for MPT South – Communication and Stakeholder Management.
Kasama ni Capistrano sa launching ceremony ng activity book sina MPTC Chief Corporate Governance and Risk Officer and Head of Sustainability Atty. Cynthia Casino; at Dr. Angelito Umali, health and nutrition officer at kinatawan ng United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
Ang mga bagong aklat ay tinanggap ni Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano, director ng National Library of the Philippines (NLP); Eduardo B. Quiros, assistant director ng NLP; at mga kinatawan ng iba’t ibang lokal na aklatan.
Mahigit 2,000 kopya ang ipapamahagi ng MPT South bilang donasyon sa mga public libraries sa Metro Manila at CALABARZON.
