Somerset Animal Sanctuary announces 30th annual dog show
SOMERSET Charity, Ferne Animal Sanctuary, is set to unleash a day of tail-wagging fun at its 30th annual dog show next month.
Sponsored by Everys Solicitors and Lulu’s Natural Dog Treats, the day “promises a day filled with fun classes, have-a-go agility, stalls from local businesses, delicious food and much more!”
Taking place on Ferne Animal Sanctuary’s expansive 72-acre site near Chard, this year’s dog show is “more than just a walk in the park.”
The event will be held at the Ferne Animal Sanctuary on September 1, it costs only £2 to enter your furry friend into any event category.
Kicking off at 10am, an entry fee is available at just £10 per car, which includes parking.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes are invited to this special event, and a variety of categories are available.
From the ‘Cutest Youngster’ to ‘Best Trick’ and ‘loveliest Large Dog’, there is a class for every pup.
Every penny raised will go directly toward helping Ferne Animal Sanctuary rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.
Like every Ferne event, the fun doesn’t stop with the dogs, as there is plenty of activities for adults and children.
A wide range of stalls will be available from local businesses and delicious food also available, there’s something to enjoy for all the family.
Other categories at the dog show include ‘Best Ferne Rescue’, ‘Best Veteran, and of course, the award for the waggiest tail.
