(The suspect has long held a personal grudge against the victim, so he was monitoring the victim’s return home. The suspect believes that his live-in partner had a relationship with the victim.)
“Nadiskubre din po namin na simula noong pagkabata nila, parang meron na pong rivalry na namumuo sa kanila dahil ‘yung sa mga palaro… Noong una, uso ang pa boxing ay nagkakalaban sila pero laging talo itong suspek, at laging panalo ang ating biktima at maging sa mga laro ng basketball, meron nang rivalry simula ng childhood nila,” he added.
(We also found out that ever since their childhood, a rivalry seemed to have been brewing between them because of games. Back then, they would compete in boxing matches, but the suspect would always lose while the victim would always win. Even in basketball games, the rivalry had been present since their early years.)
The suspect remains at large.
