A ‘new Mac Miller song has been released – ‘5 Dollar Pony Rides’.
The rapper’s vaults will be opened on January 17th, with ‘new’ album ‘Balloonerism’ being shared to the world. The material is drawn from 2014 sessions, the same creative period in which Mac was working on ‘Watching Movies with the Sound Off’, ‘Delusional Thomas’, ‘Faces’ and more.
The tracklisting has been confirmed, alongside a feature length movie to accompany the film.
Out now, ‘new’ song ‘5 Dollar Pony Rides’ has already won fans over – the quality is high, and it feels like a natural release, one that speaks to other facets of the man’s work.
As one fan puts it “the song is genuinely so good” – it’s hard to argue with consistent quality, and the care shown to Mac Miller’s legacy by his estate.

‘Balloonerism’ is out on January 17th, and will be available digitally as well as in a variety of physical formats including CD, cassette and vinyl, all of which are now available for pre-order. The vinyl will be available as a two-LP release across two exclusive variants only available through balloonerism.com – a one-time, limited edition deluxe pressing that features a rainbow foil-wrapped slipcase with white splatter cloud vinyl and a 32-page color booklet featuring photos and lyrics as well as a limited one-time pressing that features clear vinyl.
