– In a report by K5 News FM, the male personality identified only as John, allegedly jumped from the third level of the mall and hit his head first on the floor below

– According to the report, John is a resident of Brgy Mandalagan in Bacolod and is said to have told folks in their house earlier that he’s going to a mall to have his cellphone fixed

– In an interview with the police, they said his family started looking for the victim after he failed to return home when night began to fall.

In a report by K5 News FM, said male personality, who was identified only as John, allegedly jumped from the third floor of the said mall, hitting his head on the floor below, causing his untimely demise.

According to the report, the said person who was identified only as John, is a resident of Barangay Mandalagan, which is located north of Bacolod City.

In an interview of K5 News FM with Police Major Eugene Tolentino, Chief of Bacolod Police Station 2, which has jurisdiction of the place where the said mall is situated, he said the victim told folks back home he’s going to a mall to have his cellphone fixed.

It wasn’t mentioned if “John” said he’s going to have his phone fixed at the mall where he allegedly jumped or to a nearby mall.

According to PMAJ Tolentino, his family started looking for him when he failed to come home when night fell.

K5 News FM, in its report, stated that it was around 10 PM of November 22, Friday, when the victim allegedly jumped off the third floor of the mall.

PMAJ Tolentino said many people saw the victim right before he allegedly jumped.

“Tumalon siya pero bago iyon, nag-babay pa siya sa mga tao, pagkatapos bumuwelo siya ng konti, at yun na, tumalon na siya,” PMAJ Tolentino said.

“Sir clear ko lang, ang floor, third Sir or fourth?” the K5 News FM reporter asked the Station Chief.

“Third yan. Third floor,” says PMAJ Tolentino.

According to the report, the victim sustained severe injuries to his head, which caused his death.

The report also said that the victim did not have any children or wife.

Police authorities are still investigating as to why the man allegedly jumped to his death.
