Janine Tugonon, Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up, has welcomed her first child with her French boyfriend.
She shared the happy news on Instagram, announcing the birth of a healthy baby girl, Madeleine Sophia.
Janine also mentioned that she’s recovering well from her C-section.
Fellow beauty queens like Precious Lara Quigaman and MJ Lastimosa quickly congratulated her on her post.

Janine Tugonon was a beauty queen and model. She represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant and placed second to Olivia Culpo of the US. Janine also pursued a modelling career in the US. She landed several high profile modeling gigs such as appearing in a Victoria’s Secret ad, becoming an NU muse, and walking the runway during the 2017 New York Fashion Week.

The beauty queen also shared a carousel of photos of herself flaunting her baby bump. Aside from Janine, Maxine Medina also shared on social media that she gave birth to her and Timmy Llana’s first child. They also call their baby, Timothy Mateus Ezekiel M. Llana, their “little miracle.”
