LANY Suprises Lucky Filipino Fans with Jollibee Branch Takeover

ORDER UP, LANY’s here! On October 11, the band served lucky fans as they appeared behind the counter of a Jollibee branch ahead of their sold-out shows at the Philippine Arena and Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Dressed in full employee attire, the band appeared enthusiastic as they took orders from customers and served them fresh meals, including the restaurant’s famous Chickenjoy and burger steak. The band even gave away trays of free drinks and cheeseburgers, which fans immediately took and enjoyed.

Excited fans who occupied the entire restaurant were left starstruck as they got to meet the band in an unexpected and unforgettable encounter outside of their live shows. One lucky fan even got to take home a special souvenir from the encounter: a signed Jollibee employee uniform from band drummer Jake Goss.

One of the most beloved fast-food chains in the Philippines, Jollibee has been enjoyed not just by Filipinos, but by international acts that have visited the country as well. Speaking of his love for Jollibee, band frontman Paul expressed: “It’s always been a dream for us to come here to Jollibee. […] Thank you so much to everyone who came here today.”

After two years, the band finally makes their highly anticipated return to Manila after treating fans to five sold-out shows back-to-back at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena last November 11 to 16, 2022.

LANY officially kicks off their “a beautiful blur” tour run in the country with a sold-out show at the Philippine Arena on October 12, followed by three shows at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino from October 13 to 15.

The American pop-rock band, composed of frontman Paul Klein and drummer Jake Goss, is known for their emotional lyrics and hard-hitting hugot hits, including ILYSB, Malo Cause You Have To, and 13.
