It was recently reported that iOS 18.1 and Apple Intelligence will be made available to the general public on November 28, alongside the rest of the updates for the company’s entire product lineup. Today. Apple has released beta 6 of its upcoming iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, watchOS 11.1, and macOS 15.1, as well as other updates for developers for testing purposes.

If you are a developer, you can download and install the latest iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 beta 6 on your iPhone or iPad through the Settings app on your device. All you have to do is head over to Settings, navigate to General > Software Updates > Beta Updates, and download and install the latest update for your compatible device. You have to make sure that your Apple ID and the Developer Account are connected to receive the updates over the air.
Apple Watch users can test watchOS 11.1 beta 6 by installing it through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Simply launch the app, go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates, and download the latest build. Again, you must connect your Apple ID with your Developer account to receive the update over the air.
macOS 15.1 beta 6 can be downloaded through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings, but you have to enable Beta Updates in the Settings first. Similar to iOS 18.1, beta 6 of macOS 15.1 also requires you to connect your Apple ID to your Developer Account.
Apple has also released tvOS 18.1 and visionOS 2.1 beta 6 to developers, which you can also install on your compatible devices. The latest updates are quite crucial for the iPhone as well as the rest of the products due to the inclusion of Apple Intelligence features. If you are a developer, Apple Intelligence will remain in the beta phase for another 20 days, as the updates will be released to the general public on November 28, a few days ahead of the company’s new M4 MacBook Pro launch.
