Mikee Quintos couldn’t help but tear up while reading fellow Kapuso star Mikoy Morales’ letter inviting her to be his best woman at his upcoming wedding.
On TikTok, Mikee shared a video of herself reading the heartfelt letter from Mikoy, pausing several times as she got emotional over her best friend’s touching words.
Mikoy proposed to his non-showbiz girlfriend, Isa Garcia, in February.
The actor currently stars in action drama series “Lolong.” He previously starred in the MMFF 2024 Best Picture “Green Bones” and historical drama series “Pulang Araw.””
He also won the Best Actor award at the 2023 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival for his role in “Tether.”
Here’s Mikoy’s full letter to Mikee below:
“Mikee,
We used to only talk about this. It’s quite hard to remember who we were back then, but I do remember what our dreams were. Now here we are, same but different, and I’m getting married. I found her, Mikee.
You’ve seen me at my lowest, you’ve seen me at my best, and you’ve seen how it all played out with Isa. Makes sense, no? Ikaw ang pinaka nakakaalam niyan.
Naalala ko nung pangatlong kita namin ni Isa, sa’yo ko siya agad dinila — because you were the benchmark of what a partner for me should be. Kaya thank you for loving her.
You’re my best friend. You still are. I hope you don’t forget that. Importante ka sakin at kahit anong pangarap na pinag uusapan lang natin dati ang matupad at hindi matuloy, hindi magbabago na nakikita pa rin kitang nasa buhay ko — buhay namin ni Isa. Heto na. Jump with me on this one?”
“No matter how scary the jump is… You jump, I jump– @mikoymorales. I got you. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you and @isagarsha!!,” Mikee said in response.
