Pinatugtog ang “Lupang Hinirang,” ang Pambansang Awit ng Pilipinas, sa crowning ceremony para kay Christine Juliane “CJ ” Opiaza bilang bagong hirang na Miss Grand International 2024
Si CJ ang first runner-up sa Miss Grand International 2024 na ginanap noong Oktubre 2024.
Isinalin sa kanya ang korona at titulo matapos mag-resign ng nanalong Miss Grand International 2024 na si Rachel Gupta ng India.
Kinoronahan si CJ bilang 12th Miss Grand International sa MGI Hall, Bangkok, Thailand, nitong Martes, Hunyo 3, 2025.
Bumuhos ang kanyang luha dahil sa kaligayahang nararamdaman.
Ang MGI President na si Nawat Itsagrisil ang nagputong ng korona kay CJ, na kauna-unahang Pilipino na nanalo ng Thailand-based beauy pageant.

CJ OPIAZA’S MESSAGE
Matapos iputong sa kanya ang korona ay nagbigay ng mensahe ang bagong Miss Grand International 2024.
Pahayag ni CJ: “I know best things happen for a reason.
“You just have to wait for that very specific moment, but you have to hold on and do whatever it takes.
“Before I signed up for this job, I know I was born ready. I’m always ready.
“And now, I’ve been given the challenge and I am taking the challenge, taking the responsibility to fill that shoes as your first runner-up and now, as your Miss Grand International 2024.
“Truly, it’s an honor, but I know there will be challenges along the way.
“But I know, I have my family with me, the Miss Grand International Organization, to be able to surpass all these.
“And, of course, all the Filipinos, all the Thai fans, my fans all over the world, my organization from the Philippines, my family, of course, my team.
“I know this moment is so sudden. There’s a moment of transition and change, but that’s how we grow as individuals and that’s how we win in life.
“There are different versions and meanings of winning in life, but this is my golden moment.
“And this is a historic win for the Philippines.
“Mabuhay sa lahat ng mga Pilipino! Maraming-maraming salamat po sa pagpunta.
“Ganoon din sa suporta na ibinigay ninyo sa akin mula noon hanggang ngayon, kahit nasaan akong entablado, naririnig ko yung mga sigawan ninyo.
“Ganoon din kagalak ang puso ko na makita kayong lahat na isine-celebrate itong pagkapanalo nating lahat. Lalaban lang tayo lagi.
“Para ito sa bansang Pilipinas. Para ito sa Miss Grand International Organization and we will continue the legacy that Miss Grand International cemented over the years.
