M4 iPad Pro Users Can Finally Enjoy iPadOS 18, As Apple Fixes Faulty Update With iPadOS 18.0.1 Release

After the initial release of iPadOS 18, some owners of the M4 iPad Pro model were complaining that the update had bricked their devices. The company soon took notice of the issue and pulled the update from the system. which means that users were not able to install it on their compatible devices, rendering them stuck with older firmware. Now, the company has finally released the iPadOS 18.0.1 update for all iPad models, especially the M4 iPad Pro with an OLED display.

M4 iPad Pro users can finally upgrade to iPadOS 18.0.1 as Apple has fixed the bricking issue

If you are one of those who were affected by the bricking update, the update is not available for installation through the Settings app on your new iPad Pro with an M4 chip. If you are not familiar with the mechanism or are new to the Apple ecosystem, simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the on-screen instructions to install the recently released iPadOS 18.0.1 update.

Apple removed the iOS 18 update for the M4 iPad Pro a day after its release, and since then, users have been stuck with older firmware. Now, the company has released a new update with a fix for a bug that was bricking the devices. You can check out the full changelog below.

Take note that the new iPadOS 18.0.1 update is also available for the rest of the iPad lineup with the same fixes and improvements, but it specifically resolves the issue involving the M4 iPad Pro. Apple has also released iOS 18.0.1 for all compatible iPhone models with fix for touch screen and additional issues.
