A lifeless body of a woman was discovered in a vacant lot located in Barangay Dalig, Antipolo, Rizal.

As reported by GMA 7’s ‘Balitanghali,’ the woman’s face was already in a state of decomposition.

In the same report, the barangay stated that a person searching for scrap materials was the first to spot the woman’s body.

According to a barangay tanod, the area is often used as a dumping site, and it was the foul smell that led to the discovery of the body.

The lifeless body was also reported to have a pillow and blanket. The tanod said the woman’s face was already in the decomposition state.

The woman’s identity wasn’t confirmed yet by the authorities. However, according to the barangay, it’s possible that the woman was not their resident because none from their residents was reported a missing person.

They also added that the woman was believed to be just roaming in the area.

Meanwhile, the police authorities are still investigating the incident.
