Press Release from Cindy Golia

In keeping with the spirit of fall, North Haven Garden Club members Brenda Howlett and Katie Firizel planted several mums around the sign at the North Haven Senior Center on Sept. 16. After planting, the ladies gave the mums a good drink of water in the midst of the recent dry spell.

In the United States, the chrysanthemum generally symbolizes friendship, happiness, and well-being.
