EUGENE, Ore. — Greenhill’s 15th annual An Evening For Animals event is making its return.
The event is meant to raise funds for Lane County’s most vulnerable animals. Greenhill’s goal this year is to raise $200-thousand to care for more than 5,000 animals and the people that utilize the humane society’s programs, saidGreenhill’s Community Engagement & Events Manager Sarah Bouzad.
An Evening for Animals is a fun evening filled with fabulous auction items, delicious food, a hosted bar, and local celebrities. This is a wonderful evening for animal supporters to see the impact their donations have on Lane County’s vulnerable animals.
The evening includes silent and live auctions, delicious appetizers and dinner, and a dessert dash.Auction items include artwork, experiences, gift cards, jewelry, and more. Funds raised during the event will go towards supporting daily care, medical and behavioral health for the animals under Greenhill’s care.
In 2023, Greenhill assisted 5,356 animals through its life-saving programs. So far in 2024, Greenhill has helped over 4,000 animals.
Greenhill’s An Evening For Animals event takes place Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Graduate Eugene, located at66 E 6th Ave. The event takes place from 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, but are not required. To purchase tickets and view auction items head over to green-hill.org.
