Konami’s Deliver at All Costs is Free on Epic Games
In a rare occasion, Konami went and surprised everyone by offering a free game over the Epic Games Store, and gamers literally lost it. Deliver At All Costs has almost never been released, so this is one of those rare games that is available for the magnificent price of zero dollars-yep, free. No sneaky subscriptions, no gimmicks-because it actually works. And in case you need help playing it, Epic had to put in the link to a stupid guide, because they know we’re all going to be asking for it.
Epic. Chaos. Some fans-shaped crazy about it-Willie Huff tweeted, “That’s awesome—free games speak my language!” Others, though, some… just less than thrilled. A user with the handle of BlueBird had this really strong and pungent vibe to emission: “I bought it first and then found it for free kinda upset.” Oof. That stings! Daryl chimed in, laughing all the way: “I bought it and now it’s free?! 😫😄” Two sides of a painful coin.
But for some, that smooth-sailing ain’t happening as some of them encounter problems; that was one reported by OMG Itz DANIEL as: “Game freezy constantly.” And then the fury was unleashed by Master Baker: “I’m having problems logging out of my account to switch to a different account.” Epic, fix your stuff, man.
More so, entering the more philosophical argument, “Is this a good or a bad thing for the devs?” wondered Jonathas Souza. “They get paid, for this,” reprimanded CyberApollo. “Same as releasing on GamePass, only difference is you don’t have to pay at all for this,” Jeremy offered. So yeah, Konami’s probably fine.
But the real winners here are basically all those that love free stuff. Ricky Barretto thanked Epic, say, “Thank you, we will start delivering soon.” To which Roland Dante simply responded: “It’s crazy to me that it’s free day one. We are so grateful.” Phoenixo sums it all: “Dead Island 2, Deliver at all costs, Sifu… we are very spoiled here!”
Here comes the question: So where’s the catch? Drfreddy threw out the real question: “Hmmm 🤔 what’s the catch?” Honestly? Maybe there isn’t one. Maybe Epic and Konami just decided to bless us. Or they’re maybe betting on microtransactions later. Who knows.
Either way, if you haven’t grabbed it yet, what are you waiting for? Free game. No excuses. Just go get it before it’s too late. And if you’ve gotten it, well… enjoy Deliver at All Costs, or whatever it means.
Oh, and a shoutout goes out to bunfunn9, saying: “TY Epic for 460 free games so far.” Dang. That’s a lot of freebies. No wonder people keep coming back.
So yeah, another day, another free game on Epic. At this point, it’s basically tradition. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some delivering to do. Or freezing. Or logging in. Or whatever.
