Fortnite’s Custom Mandalorian Skin Drops and Gamers Are Going Wild

Okay, now tighten those belts, everybody: The custom Mandalorian skin has hit the shop and is worth the hype. Dropped by Epic Games, this item is going ballistic with the insane options for customization. We are talking about billions of combination options, literally. Yes, BILLIONS.

So what exactly is the skin? For starters, it is not your plain vanilla reskin of the OG Mando from Battle Pass; this one is way cooler. You have the option of mix-matching your armor pieces and colors. You can even toss on a hood to impart a little air of mystery to your own. Do you worry that your Mandalorian will become a clone in the lobby? Have no fear. There are so many combinations that your Mando will probably be unique… at least until someone else picks the same color scheme. But that’s a risk you take.

And Twitter went crazy with the skin dropping. Some said “flex” from the start. @Fx_HasTheMovies claimed they were breaking records for fastest cop, while the other end was nerding out over the very unnoticeable details of cape asymmetry-a fair complaint, I guess-but still looks good.

The real question was: WHERE IS BOBA FETT? Replies drowned in demands for the return. “@ilovefortnitezb” didn’t mince words: “Where is Boba Fett?” while “@Ryunokami187” was eager to know “When will he be back in the shop.” The Terminator fans can’t be forgotten, asking, “Do we not care about the T-800?” Like, bro—you can care about more than one thing at a time.

So now this skin is, of course, up for the debate against the Battle Pass version. @iHeist007 said no one beats it unless it is General Grievous, but he was passing on the purchase because he wants Boba. Respect. @tnovixvp was more of the type that says this one is way more unique because of the customization options.

And just a quick shout-out to “HYPEX”-inputting that code when you grab the skin will be a means of supporting the leaker who has been feeding us Fortnite rumors for years. So, if you care to.

Here’s the real tea: So far, players are reporting no sighting of this skin being used. Following the shop reset, @morleyuser posted that they played for around two hours and didn’t see even one Mando. This either means that it’s a good sign because it’s not oversaturated or a bad one as no one’s really paying attention to it. Either way, if you want to be seen, now is the time to do it.

But just when some people think it’s all over, @Lewisedge0109 reminded everyone that Mandalorians come in all shapes and sizes: “THE Mandalorian from the series isn’t the only one, you know,” clapped back at a person complaining about already owning the Battle Pass version. Preach.
