DUBAI — Xode Blockchain has joined Token 2049 Dubai, the biggest cryptocurrency event.
Led by Xode founder Gene Son and co-founder Harold Glenn Minerva, the team joined thousands of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, founders, CEOs, L1 blockchains, Angel investors, and Web3 enthusiasts in the bustling city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Breakfast in Old Dubai
Tuesday, April 29, kicked off with a breakfast meeting in a quaint café amid artisan shops in the historic Old Dubai, situated in Bur Dubai and Deira, along Dubai Creek, to welcome two groups of investors who flew in from South Korea: Blackstone and FM – First Metro.
Joining the delegation was Xode European Community Manager Alex Morozov from Serbia. With literally hundreds of side events, the delegation compared notes as to where best to go.
First stop: ‘Code Meets Law’ Cryptocurrency and Global Compliance
Team Xode hit the ground running in its networking mission. They attended LBank’s forum on “Code Meets Law: Aligning Cryptocurrency Adoption with Global Compliance.”
There were important insights from the speakers and the audience interacting with the panel of the second session: “Global Playbook: Navigating Compliance Across Jurisdictions.” Noteworthy was the recurring question as to which is preferred: a VARA license from Dubai or an ADGM License from Abu Dhabi.
