
Japan’s Top Tier Idol Group Sakurazaka46 Releases an Album with Famous French DJ Naeleck’s Remix
Japan, Tokyo — Japan’s top tier idol group Sakurazaka46 released their second album, Addiction, on Wednesday, April 30, everywhere out here. This album contains 24 songs in total, including the title track and coupling songs from the 5th single, “Sakurazuki,” released in 2023, to their latest single, “UDAGAWA GENERATION,” and their new song, “Addiction”, exclusively written for this album. Addiction also includes a remix song “I want tomorrow to come -Naeleck Remix-“from the famous French DJ, Naeleck, an artist with over 1 billion streams and multiple gold and platinum certifications, ranked the 4th most internationally successful French artist in 2023, and other five songs newly remixed by worldwide well-known DJs. Where he says “It’s so great to be able to remix the band. I loved the original track and immediately got inspired to remix it into a club/festival banger.”
The remix songs bringing out new charms in Sakurazaka46’s music, are carefully selected and remixed by world-renowned DJs who have agreed to help bring Sakurazaka46 to the world, such as Ninajirachi an Australian electronic artist who has performed at Lollapalooza, EDC, and other music festivals, and has sold out solo concerts in Japan and abroad, and Naeleck a mysterious DJ and producer from France, known for his masked, immortal persona and his dark, otherworldly take on electronic music. Also, from all around the world, Nurko a dance music DJ/producer from the U.S., Raiden a South Korean EDM producer/DJ, devin a rising artist from Sweden, and TSAR a highly popular creator from China joins the remixes.
As Sakurazaka46 just performing in Taipei at the CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2025 in Taipei on April 19th, the group will embark on a 5-city tour of Japan, including 5 days at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka. Sakurazaka46 is ready to boost their recognition in Japan and other countries.

About Sakurazaka46:
Formed in 2015 as Keyakizaka46, the second group in the “Sakamichi Series” following Nogizaka46, they changed their name to Sakurazaka46 in October 2020 and began their activities.
Sakurazaka46’s attitude toward creativity and stoic dance performance, etc., have drawn sympathy from many creators, and together they embody their works and music. Every time they release a new piece of work, it is ranked No. 1 in the social trends and rankings. They have performed in domes and stadiums in Japan and at many events overseas. In 2023, they performed at the “2023 Asia Artist Awards IN THE PHILIPPINES,” a festival that brings together artists active in Asia. They won two categories for the first time as a Japanese artist: Popularity Award and Best Musician Award. In 2024, Sakurazaka46 held its second Tokyo Dome concert, attracting 110,000 audiences. Their stadium live performance at ZOZO Marine Stadium greatly broke the venue’s maximum audience attendance record. At the “Clockenflap Music & Art Festival 2024” held in Hong Kong, they became the first Japanese idol group to perform on the main stage.
