PDP SENATORS, TOLENTINO ATTEND INC ‘PEACE RALLY’
Senators from the former ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP), chaired by former President Rodrigo Duterte, participated in the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (INC) National Rally for Peace held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Monday, January 13.
PDP Senators Bato Dela Rosa, Bong Go, and Robinhood Padilla attended the rally, with both Dela Rosa and Go seeking reelection in the upcoming midterm elections this May.
Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino also participated in the event. Tolentino, who resigned from PDP before the filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) in October 2024, is running for reelection under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s “Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas” senatorial slate.
