Nonprofits in Bloom: Cat Depot

Cat Depot, a free-roaming adoption center and rescue, is recognized for its progressive design and dedication to helping homeless, abandoned, and injured animals. Since its founding in 2003, Cat Depot has grown to be the area’s premier feline-only rescue, adoption, and education center, saving over 20,000 cats. They continue to serve their mission to save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education needed to improve the destiny of homeless cats. Each year, over 1,100 rescued cats and kittens receive state-of-the-art care until they find their forever homes.

Cat Depot’s mission extends beyond adoption. Their Community Food Bank feeds over 10,000 owned and community cats annually, providing lifesaving food, supplies, and no-cost spay and neuter services. The on-site Cat Care Clinic offers affordable wellness and specialty services, ensuring pets receive essential veterinary care and offering pet parents peace of mind.

Cat Depot’s education programs touch thousands of community members annually. From summer camps and coffee talks to family events and lectures, Cat Depot provides resources and opportunities for all ages to learn and engage.
